NDP1 has been identified as the first pilot site for the State Government Growth Area Team and includes approx. 3000 dwellings.
The project
Neighbourhood Development Plan 1 is the first priority and release area for the Caboolture West growth area and has recently been identified as the first pilot site for the State Government Growth Area Team including successfully achieving Building Acceleration funding to build essential infrastructure.
NDP 1 includes approximately 3000 dwellings along with the expected schools, open space, services and supporting land uses.
Our task
PEAKURBAN have been engaged as town planners for each individual applicant and also as the planning representative for the Land Owner Group.
The PEAKURBAN urban design team have also lead the neighbourhood planning exercise across the plan area and progressed into detail designs for each project.
Engineering inputs include works associated with the DA application, Authority negotiations, concept and detailed design of the external road infrastructure which includes multiple signalised intersections and major road upgrades valued at in excess of $20M. These works are a major piece of the puzzle in providing the road infrastructure to support the future growth of Caboolture West.
In addition to the above, PEAKURBAN have also been engaged by the LOG on the BAF infrastructure and are currently negotiating a Water Infrastructure Agreement (WIA) with Unitywater for some of this infrastructure. The BAF infrastructure costs have been estimated at $21M.
